2025 Governance Meetings and Engagements

The African Association of Accountants General (AAAG) is proud to host its 2025 Governance Meetings and Engagements in the vibrant city of Accra, Ghana, from 28th July to 1st August 2025.

This year’s event brings together Accountants General, financial leaders, and strategic partners from across the continent for a week of high-level dialogue, learning, and collaboration.

Set against the backdrop of one of West Africa’s most dynamic capitals, the programme includes the Executive Committee Meeting, Annual General Meeting, and a Leadership Development Workshop — all designed to strengthen public financial management and foster cross-border excellence. Delegates will also participate in engaging site visits and cultural exchanges that showcase Ghana’s heritage and hospitality.

Getting There & Entry Requirements

As we prepare to convene in Accra, Ghana, for the upcoming review meetings, we kindly request all travelling delegates to share with us the names of the hotels where you will be staying. This information will assist with coordination and logistical planning to ensure a smooth and well-supported engagement.

Additionally, please take note of the following important documents that was emailed to you:

Official Invitation Letter – Issued by the Controller and Accountant General of the Republic of Ghana, this letter outlines the purpose of the meetings.
Visa Facilitation Letter – For delegates who require a visa to enter Ghana, this letter should be presented at the point of entry to support your application and processing.
